In 1962, they formed the Nordic Working Party which was instrumental in developing nematology in Scandinavia within the modern sense of the science. One of the activities emerging from this group was the 1962 handbook “Nematoder på Växter” (Nematodes on Plants) which has been widely used in teaching and advising.
